Anger Management Training

Home / Anger Management Training

Anger is a completely normal, usually healthy, human emotion. But when it gets out of control and turns destructive, it can lead to problems—problems at work, in your personal relationships, and in the overall quality of your life.

Our state-approved training satisfies requirements set by courts through a legal order, a legal representative, or a parole/probation officer. Training can also be eligible for employers or other entities.

Our Anger management training is not counseling, psychotherapy, or treatment for mental health.

Anger Management Training is a curriculum designed to teach skills in four primary areas: Communication, Anger Management, Stress Management, and Emotional intelligence.

The  curriculum materials consist of: Gaining Better Control & Understanding of Ourselves; Clients’ Control logs and using the Contrasting Wheels of Behavior

Anger Management training is an emotional intelligence skill enhancement course that teaches new coping skills to individuals, couples and groups that will change unacceptable behavior patterns.

Stress and anger have been identified as two principal factors that tend to occur in the act of aggression towards another person.  Participants will learn to recognize and manage these two important contributing factors, which are roadblocks to positive healthy interpersonal relationships.

Emotional Intelligence EQ-2.0

Emotional Intelligence is the ability to understand the reactions and actions of others and to regulate one’s emotions to make good decisions and act effectively.

You will take the online EQ-i 2.0 assessments, which take about 20 minutes, and receive a detailed report with a debriefing session explaining the results. The EQ-i 2.0 Emotional Intelligence assessment can help you gain knowledge and improve your emotional intelligence skills to become more successful in your relationships and workplace. Research studies completed by organizations such as Harvard Business Review validate that emotional intelligence skills can be learned.
